Okarie - Ank Rouge director
Being a big Okarie fan I had to put her on top! Tehe. In my opinion she´s perfect in every way. She is cute in a natural way, funny and have a great sense of fashion. She is getting close to what is called : Roma Gyaru (romantic gyaru) and that´s where I´m aiming too.
I even think she looks great with ´´natural´´makeup.

The first time I got know about Juria was after someone pointed out my makeup looked just like hers!
I got curious and googled her and it was like ´´damn she´s is fierce´´pretty much love at first sights!
Risa- Katie model
I love Risa´s style. It´s so angelic, simple and yet extremely cute. On top of that she´s got such a beautiful dolly face, yet it stands out because her eyes aren´t round like O_O rather they´re more cat eye-shaped which is really pretty!
Mirai Saito- EGG model
The cutes model in EGG! Been a fan of Mirai for a long time, but lately even more since I really like
how she´s changed her style. She used to have a bit more of amekaji in her style, but now I can see it´s heading towards roma gal!
AMO- Zipper model and singer in AMOYAMO
First time I heard about AMO was on the Gals & Shit meet up in sweden, when the sweetest Malin said my hair looked like hers, at that point I had no clue who she was, but when I googled her I fell in love!
Her style kinda remind me about Risa´s, simple yet very eyecatching!
I skipped the lecture today because I wasn´t really in the best mood, so I´m about to hit the gym (and hoping jogging will cheer me up), but before that:

Ok so let´s continue from where I left off last time.
As you might´ve figured out, saturday night was the main event. We went to a karaoke place called Sakura where we could order food, drinks and sing karaoke. Now I don´t sing (because unless you wanna loose your ears I suggest you let me stay silent), but it was sure funny to hear other people sing! Had a great time!
I ordered the yummiest sushi I´ve ever had! It was also very pretty arranged on the plate!
The karaoke was a great opportunity to take pictures with the people and here you have some of the good ones.
After the karaoke we went to a club called ´´ACE´´. It´s been a long time since I went out partying so this was really refreshing. I love to dance (yeah I´m not a singer, but a dancer) so I just went crazy on the dance floor. Not the sexiest dancer you´ll find, but having fun is number one importance.
I had a really delicious drink on friday which I also ordered on Saturday. It´s called ´´Pink Panther´´. Totally my type of drink. It taste like strawberry milk, is super sweet and is pink. Perfect!
The night was crazy, unforgettable and truly one of my best weekend in a long long time. My life has been such a roller coaster the past month, so this was refreshing.
The next day it was time to go home. Lydia and Kimii met Ingvild, Erlend and me to have lunch before me and Ingvild left Stockholm.
I just wanna thank every single person who made the weekend so amazing and I hope we´ll see each other again soon!

It´s time to blog about my weekend in Stockholm because it was AWESOME!
I think it was in the middle of January when Ingvild asked me if I wanted to come with her to this gal-meetup in Stockholm in March. I was kinda nervous about it since it would be my first meetup. I knew no one and kinda felt like and outsider, but I´m glad I went.
The first day we arrived at Arland Airport around 12:00 or so. The check-in at Omena Hotel wasn´t till 16:00 so we had plenty of time. We met Tuomas, Heikki and Alex at the Airport (names right?) . It was my first time meeting them, but they were all very polite and nice!
After that we went to check-in. The hotel was one of the ´´ghettoest´´ I´ve ever been to. The reception was a check-in box.
...but it was cheap so no complains. After that we met Imke and Juju who was also staying at the same hotel. Then we packed our stuff, dolled up and went out to meet Lydia, Kimi and the rest. God was I tired...I had 4 hours of sleep the night before and how I managed to keep it together is beyond me.
I don´t have many good pictures from the first day because I was ass-tired and couldn´t be bothered.
This is the only presentable one I guess. So many hot gals in one pic!
The next day we got up at 10:00 and received room service a´la Erlend. He got us some cheeseburgers because I ordered him to do so. I´m the queen. After that we went to the center to have a look around. I got some stuff from Top Shop and after that we came back to the hotel to get ready for the night.
Here have a pic of me to enlighten your day. This is pretty much how my makeup was. Only that I was more tan in real. I wish my front-camera was a little bit better. Only reason I want to get a iPhone 5. The picture is great, but the resolution is terrible! You hear me Apple?
I kinda wish I didn´t rush my hair. I thought we was running out of time, but then Lydia said they were going to be late so I had time left, but I had already emptied the bottle with hairspray.

So as the title says: Matsuoka Rie most known for Okarie has announced her graduation from Popteen magazine. Words cannot describe how big impact this had on me and when I got the news I literally wanted to cry.
For me Okarie is not only a style icon, but also a role model and very ´´down to earth´´-person despite her gaining so much fame those last years. I know she is one of the most hardworking gyarus out there and everything she has achieved by hard work she deserves to the fullest. The only reason I kept reading Popteen was because of Okarie. No that she no longer going to model for the magazine I have no reason whatsoever to read it anymore, but I´ll support her to the very end.
I understand that she has way to much work with Ank Rouge and if it was me I would also make the same choice. I would be more depressed if she would chose away Ank.

It’s sudden but…
Today, April 1st, with the release of the May issue of Popteen, I will be graduating from Popteen.
And coincidentally, along with that, I’ve been given the cover page!! (/_;)

The official announcement release is the 1st, so I haven’t written about it until today.
Please allow me to accurately report my own words.
About graduating from Popteen…around what month did I start becoming aware of it…
I had just turned 19 when I first appeared in Popteen.
It’s a “teen” magazine, and that was my last year as a teen, so I was a bit of a late bloomer.
Until then, I had been living an ordinary life in my hometown.
But I wanted to DO something, so I applied to become a Popteen reader model.
Around my first appearance, I wondered if people would really look at my photographs.
“I really want to become better at modeling!” I said.
At that time, it was only a dream for me.
When I was 20, I started my own brand “Ank Rouge”, which was like a dream - I was so happy.
Popteen also assisted by devoting a page to it.
Every day became so busy.
When the new store opened, I tried with all my might to keep the balance between my business and modeling.
And so,
age 21, 22, 23 years…
I became aware that I was the oldest one.
My juniors increased.
I too slowly started to wonder…
I spoke firsthand with the editor-in-chief about my graduation.
After the decision was made that day,
I felt so lonely and so apologetic.
That’s what I remember from that day.
I couldn’t stop the tears.
I couldn’t say the word “graduation”.
While I was crying, I kept saying “um…by the way..um…” over and over again.
Despite that, the editor-in-chief was able to notice…
“Yes, what’s wrong?” she said.
She kindly watched over me as she listened.
Even with that tenderness, I couldn’t stop crying.
Time passed, and finally, I was able to say what I wanted to.
Graduating from my beloved Popteen makes me very, very sad, but…
Ank’s debut,
being given the cover shot,
being able to plan over 100 features,
being allowed to design the Popteen cafe uniform,
producing the Ank Rouge appendix every issue,
There’s nothing I haven’t done with Popteen,
I have no regrets,
this is how I feel.
And so, wanting to step things up, I graduate while looking forward.
To be honest,
at first, I was just a blogger, and then I founded Ank as the director…
I can only wear Ank clothing, so I became unable to be in the fashion pages.
So when I called myself a “Pop model”, I was kind of filled with uneasiness, thinking, can I really say that?
But, now that I’ve been given a graduation feature and cover page, I can say truthfully that graduating is the first time I’ve really hurt Popteen.
That is my testimony about graduating.
And so, having been given a warm send out, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you all.
With my graduation, I really really did not expect to be given the cover page.
Thank you to everyone who helped me with the magazine features up until now.
I apologize for the sudden graduation.
Without the help of Popteen, I’m someone with no redeeming features, so it is certainly with everyone’s help that I was able to get this far.
I really, really love Popteen.
I will absolutely miss the monthly photoshoots, but I won’t look back - I will continue to walk looking forward!
I am no longer a Popteen model, but Okarie is still Okarie!
I will keep doing my best with my blog and Ank Rouge.
I still have a long ways to go, so your help will make me very happy.
Graduation is not the end, it’s simply the beginning of something new.
I too don’t know what’s next, but I’ll keep looking forward!

This is the cover of Popteen may 2013 which is gonna be Okarie´s last cover and issue. She looks so gorgeous and I´ll buy Popteen for the last time just for the cover haha! I got the one issue from october 2010 when she was also on the cover when Ank Rouge started.
Let´s have a look back to some of Okarie´s pages in Popteen shall we?
When Ank Rouge was released Okarie got on the cover and I knew from the very moment I saw the picture of her she was gonna be my favorite gyaru.
Some make-up and hair tutorials. She proved that gyaru is not only about long hair, but that you can look just at gyaru with short hair. While the other Pop-models moved on and went for more natural-looking makeup, Okarie stayed true to her more dramatic looking makeup all the time and for me she was the only gyaru left in popteen. The other ´´gals´´just look like normal girls wearing lenses and lashes to me now.

I wish her all the luck with Ank and her blog. Unlike other gyarus who graduated from magazines (and started modeling for an another magazine) Okaries doesn´t plan on starting modeling for other magazines so she will just keep her crooz blog and work with Ank Rouge.

Today was indeed a very fun day. Most people have what we call ´´winter holiday´´, but as I´m in Uni I don´t have one, instead we have something called study day. I´m supposed to study on this day, but since my friend Christine was coming all the way from Sandefjord to Oslo I thought the reading could wait for tomorrow. So I went down town to meet her. My friend Martin was also there so we three went to have some bubble tea at the new bubble tea store inside Oslo city.

I had passion fruit milk tea and Christine had mango milk tea, Martin had mango fruit tea. I´m not really a fan of the fruit tea myself though.
The man behind the desk at the shop was really sweet and friendly, I prefer the tea they have at Grünerløkka more, but the service at this shop was so SO much better!
It´s been a long time since I last curled my hair so today I had to give it a go. Only sleek curls, didn´t have enough time to ´´mori´´it up, but I like it nonetheless.
After that we went to have some burgers and chit-chatted for a looong time, then we went out to take some pictures.
Taken by Martin when I wasn´t paying attention, but somehow the best pictures of me are always accidentally taken by someone else heh.... I really like this picture!The shadow on my forehead is kinda weird, but never mind that ok?
I don´t post outfits very often as the lighting inside my room is terrible and I don´t have someone else to
snap pictures of me, but since Martin is studying photography I made him snap one.
If only I had my personal photographer or something hahah!

Got myself some new stuff. I recently lost my MAC lipstick so I had to get a new one, this time I went to the drugstore to buy one . Since I always seem to loose my expensive make-up I might as well stick to cheap ones :´(
...and the new issue off EGG. I love this issue as summer is coming and there were a few tan gyarus and interesting street snaps!
Today I had a day off from Uni so I´m gonna spend it with some friends. Right now I just finished doing my hair and make-up and got plenty of time left (I always finish earlier than I plan ).
First of all, let me wish everyone a Happy Valentine! Whether you´re going to spend it with your partner or your friend (or be forever alone) I hope you have fun. Right now I´m waiting for some friends to come and visit. I got bored earlier and decided to redo my everyday make-up and turn myself into a manba LOL. It´s kinda half hearted though since I didn´t remove my make-up and it´s my first time so I might need some practice, but it was fun!! I can´t recognize myself.
