Some himekaji/romagyaru outfits, makeup & update

Hi everyone!!

So yesterday I was at work and got home very late, but for some reason I woke up very early this morning so after cleaning the apartment I decided to make a blog update with some outfits, makeup etc.

So here we go.

Outfit 1.

I don´t remember when this was taken, but I like the coord except for my hair which died when I opened the door :´(

The top is from Liz Lisa and it is really adorable!

The skirt is also from Liz Lisa. A friend of mine who lives in Tokyo at the moment bought it for me and to be honest I was surprised by the thick material. It´s supposed to be a summer skirt, but I personally think it´s a bit too warm for summer so it´s perfect for fall.

Outfit 2.

This was actually quite recent. I went to visit a friend of mine who had just moved into a new apartment and I though I at least should show some respect by wearing something presentable.

Knit: Liz Lisa (this was actually my first ever Liz Lisa item and I would´t trade or sell it for anything in the world, it has a lot of sentimental value!)

My iPhone camera has super crappy resolution, but the one thing I like about it is that my makeup don´t disappear ( if you know what I mean).

So what else?

Well... for the past months I´ve been going to the gym a lot. I actually enjoy exercising and it helps me relieve a lot of stress. The result is that my legs have been more toned and I love it!!

Update in life

Hi everyone!

Once again I´ve neglected this blog and I´m sorry I´m not so sorry. 

Taking a break was really nice because at one point I simply felt I were obliged to update this blog regularly, even when no shit has happened. Either way if there are still people reading my blog..I´m very humble and grateful!

The stuff with school which has held me down is still not solved, but they haven´t contacted me yet and for now I´ll just live my life and stop worrying about it.

This post will be very picture heavy so if you feel like frilly clothes, floral and pink is not your thing then exit is at the far right.

On friday I had a date with my girl Ingvild. I´ve been stuck in my room lately trying to finish my obligatory essays and hand-ins for Uni, however staying locked-up in my room forever is not healthy at all so I met up with Ingvild. We ended up going to Burger King and having bubble tea!

I haven´t had bubble tea since my best friend left for Korea so it was really great!

I don´t know many that likes bubble tea : ´(

As for the hair this day I was inspired by Liz Lisa GAL Minami. 

I french braided the side (not very visible) and made soft curls. Minami always have perfect hair and is such a great inspiration!

After tea and burger, we went to her flat. Ingvild had just bought this new gel nail-kit so she helped me fixing my nails while I watched Mean Girls. I felt like a queen lol

I recently got a job as a waitress (really happy about that) so I´m not allowed to have fancy or long nails for work so I had to keep it short and simple, but they are super cute and I love them! The color is so adorable!

I feel like I´m the only one who has in dress in pink. All the other Gal´s have it in white. Actually I was considering buying the white one, but the pink one is G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S so really glad I chose the right color!

Also a week ago I got this lovely Okarie birthday book and when I uploaded this on Instagram, she liked it!

I thought I was going to faint. I literally love Okarie more than I think I´ll love any man in this whole wide world so having her noticing me at was a life dream come true! 

Last but not least, my life is really stressful nowadays, but to be honest I like it. My work can become very hectic, but I love my co-workers. They are all so nice and we joke a lot which I think it´s important at a workplace. I also get quite nice with tips so I´ve bought some stuff recently.

New lenses in choco from the diamond serie. They don´t have the black timbal ring so I think they goes well with a more relaxed makeup-style!

I also got this furry Liz Lisa hat from Ingvild.

She used to be a great Liz Lisa gyaru long before I started to do the style myself (my inspiration), but now she is no longer gyaru and so I got this hat from her. I´m so tremendously in love with it and can´t thank her enough ;__; What do you think?

So that was some updates from my life! More to come hopefully, but now I gotta carry on with my essays!

Long time no see X Meetup in Liz Lisa

Hi everyone!

It´s been a really long time since last post. Meanwhile I have been sorting out some thoughts in my head and also worked a lot during the summer to keep myself busy. The case that keeps hunting me is still not solved so I can't promise any blogpost really soon. Only if I am in the mood.

However I wanted to do a real quick post before I went to bed this evening. It is about a meet-up I went to last sunday.

My friend Keziah took her time to arrange it (for the norwegian j-fashion community) so I though I should attend and I am glad I did. I had a great time and met friends again after a long holiday with work and being anti-social.

Anyway this is my hair and makeup for the meet-up:

It was really heavy rain that day and I know what happens to my hair when there is wind and rain so I didn't bother to curl it. I only did my fringe.

We first went bowling and then went to eat pizza. Keziah went to the meet-up in the Netherlands this summer (arranged by Hyper gyarusa if I remember correct) and had bought me a lovely necklace back home. Oh my gosh ; - ; I had not expected that and it was so nice of her!

Spending my day with good friends

Hi gals!

Today was indeed a very fun day. Most people have what we call ´´winter holiday´´, but as I´m in Uni I don´t have one, instead we have something called study day. I´m supposed to study on this day, but since my friend Christine was coming all the way from Sandefjord to Oslo I thought the reading could wait for tomorrow. So I went down town to meet her. My friend Martin was also there so we three went to have some bubble tea at the new bubble tea store  inside Oslo city.

I had passion fruit milk tea and Christine had mango milk tea, Martin had mango fruit tea. I´m not really a fan of the fruit tea myself though.

The man behind the desk at the shop was really sweet and friendly, I prefer the tea they have at Grünerløkka more, but the service at this shop was so SO much better!

It´s been a long time since I last curled my hair so today I had to give it a go. Only sleek curls, didn´t have enough time to ´´mori´´it up, but I like it nonetheless. 

After that we went to have some burgers and chit-chatted for a looong time, then we went out to take some pictures.

Taken by Martin when I wasn´t paying attention, but somehow the best pictures of me are always accidentally taken by someone else heh.... I really like this picture!The shadow on my forehead is kinda weird, but never mind that ok?

I don´t post outfits very often as the lighting inside my room is terrible and I don´t have someone else to

snap pictures of me, but since Martin is studying photography I made him snap one.

If only I had my personal photographer or something hahah!

Got myself some new stuff. I recently lost my MAC lipstick so I had to get a new one, this time I went to the drugstore to buy one . Since I always seem to loose my expensive make-up I might as well stick to cheap ones :´(

...and the new issue off EGG. I love this issue as summer is coming and there were a few tan gyarus and interesting street snaps!

Weekend and spending money that shouldn´t be spent.

My friday morning started with terrible luck. The way to Uni that usually takes me around 15 min took me this morning one hour.

ONE HOUR!!

....what a waste of time. I hate wasting my time.

First I managed to board the wrong subway. From where I live, only number 3 and 4 goes all the way to Uni, but I managed to go on number 1. This was not the first time, it has happened before, but here comes the better part of the story:

After I took the train back to the center I boarded the number 5 which I was sure went to Uni, but heck no. So I managed to take wrong subway TWICE and had to take the subway back to center one again to get on the right one.

I guess it was due to lack of sleep the past week and so being tired I could´t focus at all.

Friday night I went home to my parents. My brother was celebrating his 11th birthday and mum asked me if I could come and help. He had invited 10 classmates over for an sleepover-party. Crazy kid. I haven´t felt to tired since I started at Uni. I know this weekend has been completely alcohol free, but it feels like I´m having a terrible hangover right now. Last night I only got 2-3 hours of sleep because the boys would´t shut up. 

This was how I looked like. Right now I hate my hair....I have no clue about what to do with it .

The first thing I heard when I arrived was ´´Did you dye your hair again? IT´S TOO LIGHT´´.

Having a old fashioned mum and me being into gyaru has never helped me much hahah :´D

On my way to the train station I decided to drop by Neo Tokyo to get my monthly issue of Egg.

I love the cover of Egg february. After the disaster of a cover from Egg´s january issue, I´m glad they choose to have Mirai Saito as cover girl (with blonde hair). I´m not a big fan of Hana (brown hair), but I´m a really big fan of Mirai so it´s ok.

Last, but not least... I know I should be doing this right now as I don´t have much money to spend, but...

This Liz Lisa skirt wanted me to buy her! It was love at first sight when I saw it on gyaru sale.

The price was fair so I thought ´´why not?´´. I´m not gonna spend much money this months anyway since I´ll be going home to work every weekend.

Yeah, my dad is going to China so I´ll be working every weekend in february. It´s okay since I get paid, but it also sucks because I wanna spend my weekends with friends and go out.

Welcome to my closet my new Liz Lisa darling

Last week I finally got my Liz Lisa order ! If you read this blog regularly you might remember I made an order on a winter jacket from them as I was in desperately in need for one.

Not really, but yes I had to have a light pink one. I´ve got a hot pink from Gant, furry white from River Island, khaki green from Garula, off-white from H&M and so why not a different color this winter? The last thing I want is to wear boring black(ok black can be pretty fashionable sometimes, but you get my drift).

So here it is:

Tadaaah! I LOVE IT! It was not a long as I had hoped for. It looked bigger on the model, but hey it was one size and I´m obviously taller and bigger than the model. I´m just grateful that I can fit into Liz Lisa´s clothes. 

The jacket is kinda simple, maybe not very Liz Lisa´ish ? That´s why I fell for it, I can use this whenever I want as it´s so casual and comfy. Welcome to my closet baby! 

Those star-printed pants are by the way from MarpleQ. I know it looks weird with the jacket, but I was in a hurry and didn´t really bother to change :´D 

Still got the time for pictures thought. I´m a dedicated person, be glad.

(I like my smile in this picture though :´-D I often get to hear that I can´t smile. Yes sweetheart I can, but what I CAN and what I WANT is two completely different things)

...also I just noticed how stupid red lipstick looks with this jacket. Ok, lesson learned. Never again. Besides having pink bed sheets, pink towels, pink garbage can, pink make-up purse, half of my closet filled up with pink clothes (wanna guess my favorite color?). I´ve never actually owned a PINK LIPSTICK. I never gave it any thought since it never bothered me, but now...

Anyone wanna recommend me a good one?

Liz Lisa 2013 spring collection

So if you´re a big Liz Lisa fan you might already know that they´ve just released their spring collection (at least some of it). I personally always find their autumn collections the most interesting, but this year some of the spring items caught my attention.

Old school flower print

Liz Lisa for me has always been about floral prints, pastel colors etc. This onepiece look very much alike the one they had in 2011 (if I remember correct). The one Lena fuji was wearing on the catwalk. I personally liked the one from 2011 more, but this one is still very cute and I´m glad they stick to their basic patterns. 

Pastel pants

I´m happy they´re selling more pants now. Early spring in Norway is a bit colder than in Japan and wearing a skirt can be pretty cold sometimes. I myself have got plenty pairs of jeans in my closet, but to be honest they´re all very boring-looking and similar. I´m glad Liz Lisa has got it fixed. I might just order a pair of pants from them soon!

Ruffle skirt

This springs ruffle skirts are in my opinion adorable! Blue is back baby! Last spring it was mint green. I personally really like mint green, but blue too is cool. My favorite is the last one were pastel blue is blended with coral pink. I really do adore the color combination.

Last, but not least...

HAPPY EASTER! 

I seriously can´t remember last time Liz Lisa presented something THIS yellow. It reminds me about easter chicken. It looks crazy and I LOVE IT! Yellow has never been my color, but I really like this jumper. You make it work Liz Lisa!

Happy 2013 guys!

I didn´t exactly had a great start this year . I caught a flu (not swine flu) and I´ve been in bed for 4 days, sleepless at night with running nose. I look like Rudolph. Only yellow. Today I got a little better so I decided to go and earn some precious money, but dear ...that was painful. I had a hard time concentrating so I had to go home early. 

Anyway I´m slowly getting better and this is s not what I want to talk about eh...

I actually wanted to show off my latest purchase!

This lovely Liz Lisa winter jacket! 

One of the things I love most about new years is sale as in  S  A  L  E , my four favorite letters.

This coat was originally 16 590 yen, but was on sale for 8295 yen. 50 % off! So I had to have it.

I actually wanted a more classy coat from Ank Rouge, but the one I wanted was sold out in the color I liked (and I didn´t liked the other colors) so I went for this casual jacket. A coat also has its cons, like compared to this jacket it´s uncomfy to have/wear when you spend so much time in the library. 

Like when I wanna take a power-nap on the table then I´d prefer to have this over me than a heavy coat. So overall I´m glad I went for this one : ) I just hope everything is gonna go smoothly and safe so I receive it soon!

Here is the model of the coat, but I picked the pink one. Actually I got a mail from the service that the pink one was out of stock...then I said they could go for the white one, but as they were placing the order they saw the pink one got a little re-stock and ordered the pink one instead! Thank you for making the right choice!

you can wear the hood two ways. 

From distance it looks like a normal coat you can get in any store, but baby Liz Lisa always make something special out of it! The details. Yup, I fell in love with the lacy details and the tiny ribbon on the zip. I´ve always loved details and I never overlook them. Sometimes it can make a boring item really interesting!
